Winter Jam 2018 Coming to Cleveland!

Winter Jam makes their way back to Cleveland! I’ve been blessed to go the last two years and I’ve always had a ton of fun! I volunteered last year and as usual I love giving my time to help out! My plan is to go again this year, and I’m super excited! There is one difference this year, which is a price change. It’s usually $10, but this year it’s $15 (inner wince). To make up for it though they’ve added a pretty awesome line up (yay!).  Returning to (East Coast) Winter Jam in the 2 years I’ve gone is KB! Woo woo. Check out me and KB at the…

    Liebster Award and Nominees

I’m super excited to share that I was nominated by Leah for the Liebster  Award! *Applause* Thank you, Leah! The Liebster Award 2017 is an award that exists only on the internet, and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. I’m so honored that you picked my blog! Leah has a great blog herself! She blogs about mom life and not just the good stuff but the dirty laundry of motherhood as well. I love her honesty! I also love the fact that she’s a…

    Purely Unorthodox Concert Review: MercyMe

MercyMe’s Lifer Tour visits Cleveland’s Playhouse Square! I had never really listened to a lot of their music before, and only knew a few songs. So of course I was very curious about seeing this group! To start the show off Ryan Stevenson, entered onto stage. I’ve seen Ryan live before, and he’s very talented. This night, I was very impressed at his honesty in letting us know he was actually not feeling well. Even still I believe Ryan sang well. He sang a few of my favorites like, Eye of the Storm and Speak Life, and some I wasn’t familiar with like The Gospel. Despite not feeling his best…

    Purely Unorthodox Book Review: Prophet

Close your eyes, Ela of Parne. Close your eyes and you will see. Ela Roeh of Parne doesn’t understand why her beloved Creator, the Infinite, wants her to become His prophet. She’s undignified, bad tempered, and only seventeen–not to mention that no prophet of Parne has ever been a girl. Worst of all, as the elders often warn, if she agrees to become the Infinite’s prophet, Ela knows she will die young. Istgard has turned their back on me. See the evil they do. Yet after experiencing His presence, she can’t imagine living without Him. Determined to follow the Infinite’s voice, Ela accepts the sacred vinewood branch and is sent…

MercyMe Coming Soon to Playhouse Sq

I have a thing for Christian music. In fact it’s the only type of music I continuously listen to. Well except for Justin Bieber ( yes I am a Belieber for going on 8 years now! ). I don’t listen to most mainstream music. Nowadays, I enjoy the uplifting message of Christian music. What most people don’t always know is that CM comes in a variety of genre’s including country, rock, hip hop, pop, R&B, Gospel, worship, etc. On my personal playlist you’ll find the likes of Hollyn, Red, Andy Mineo, Lauren Daigle, and Kim Walker Smith, just to name a few. I volunteer to help out many Christian Music…
